The Smash Hit's Message Strikes a Chord with International Audiences
The international sensation, Feet Don’t Fail Me Now, embarks upon a tour of the United States after making its triumphant return from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Europe. This theatrical hit guarantees to enthrall audiences of all ages with its medley of positivity and infectious rhythm.

Rhythmic Circus, a troupe of 11 internationally renowned artists, created and performs the applauded theatrical production that celebrates the indomitable power of the human spirit. An award-winning ensemble of musicians and dancers pilot the audience on a musical voyage telling the tale of four tap dancing misfits who cross paths with a nutty private investigator possessing the extraordinarily bizarre power to halt time. The ensuing bond that develops between them sets them forth on a journey that presents wildly creative look at personal discovery and transformation.

"We created Feet Don’t Fail Me Now out of the desire to get people back in touch with the spirit of celebration. The show helps remind our audiences that there is always a reason to get up, let go and dance," said co-creator Nick Bowman. "The name of our show comes from an old New Orleans chant dating back to the early 1900’s when they literally had parades in the street every Sunday just to celebrate their lives and community. These people were rich - not necessarily financially, but with culture and spirit. Rhythmic Circus has adopted the chant as more of a rallying cry and have been ecstatic to see it strike a chord with people everywhere from our home town all the way across the globe.”

From its beginnings five years ago at a small theatre in Northeast Minneapolis, Feet Don’t Fail Me Now has grown into an international sensation that’s been performed in over 90 cities worldwide. This coming theater season, Feet Don’t Fail Me Now continues its phenomenal run with a 100 show, 60-city tour kicking off with a 6-week, 20 venue tour in China.

The brilliance of Feet Don’t Fail Me Now has been marked by rave reviews, sold-out engagements and numerous awards, which include: 2 Sage Awards for Outstanding Ensemble and Performance, the “Spirit of the Fringe” Award (Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s top theatrical award), 2 Upper Midwest Emmys, as well as being named “Best Dance Performance” by the City Pages. The entire 11- member cast "pours their spirit into every performance,” says co-creator/artistic director Ricci Milan. “We created the music and dance together with no more focus on one than the other. We have tried to balance the two in perfect harmony. The energy of the music guides the dance through the show and the converse is equally true. Both are powered by a story that ignites emotions and resonates with everyone. It's the story of a dream!" Tap shoes are turned into instruments of rhythm while mixed genres of music drive the show’s momentum. Feet Don’t Fail Me Now leverages the hilarious real life events of its creators to fill the stage with a timeless and compelling story of triumph as they champion the human spirit.
